Baby Items:
- What do I REALLY need for the baby? Babies don’t NEED much–after sorting through all the excess, here are a succinct few must have items!
- Feeding: Breast pump and bottles
- Sleeping: Safe flat space in your bed or co-sleeper. A floor mattress is also safe! Consider getting a twin bed that will be big enough for your baby for many years rather than wasting money on a bassinet, crib, toddler bed, etc…
- Pottying: Cloth or disposable diapers, baby potty
- Traveling: Car seat
- Clothing (sleep sacs, shirts, socks, leggings or onesies for colder months)
- Baby wearer! Not strictly essential, but will make your life a lot easier and make baby very happy. I recommend the Ergo 360 with infant insert, but there are tons of styles and options.
- That’s it. Seriously.
